This bumper blockbuster stars prominent Bangkok-based art collector Jean-Michel Beurdeley as the adventurous Indiana Jean. The epic begins in 1970s Paris at a ball hosted by the Thai Embassy. Guest Jean-Michel, a suave French businessman finds romance in the heart of Thai belle Patsri Bunnag, who shows the chivalrous gent a mysterious old Mayan map and asks him to help uncover her family’s lost treasure. The map takes Jean-Michel to Mexico where he enlists the help of rock ‘n’ rolling VW Beetle taxi driver, Mayan Elvis. Visiting a spooky old Shaman, they learn of a dark curse upon the map and imminent death for both if the treasure is not found within seven days. Magic carries them back to 1940s Mexico to search for the Mayan Taxi Castle where they bump into famous artists Diego Rivera and his wife Frida Kahlo, who help our treasure hunters locate the elusive fort. Entering the castle, the four taxi passengers are magically transported to Thailand where Jean-Michel is horrified to discover his love Patsri betroth to another. Jean-Michel jumps in professing his love, breaking the curse and winning the heart of his beloved Patsri. Despite not finding the treasure, the happy couple are rewarded 35 years later when Elvista returns from Mexico, giving them the gift of his magical Mayan taxi, which has been decorated by Diego and Frida, with a little help from Navin Production.
