The first time that the extraterrestrial superhero character Taximan appeared in this 10-volume comic series. Written by Pandit Chanrochanakit, a Thai scholar who often appears in Navin Production comics, Taximan is a futuristic caper that reunites the three mainstay Thai heroes from the earlier Mai Pen Rai Tokyo comic. Navin, Johnny, and Prof. Piak team up with a yellow-green robot Taximan travelling the world to find the eight-Taxi Heroes and fight off the threat of the Millennium Man group. The project commandeered 10 of Bonn’s Prinz taxicabs to be renamed as Zeit Wenden Taxi (Zeit Wendenmeaning “reversal of time” in German), each holding one instalment of the 10-volume Taximan series and with their cab roofs decorated with a scene from each comic.
