50th Anniversary Asia Society Print by 10 Asian Artists, hosted by Singapore Tyler Print Institute, Singapore
Touring exhibition to various locations in Asia and Asia Society, New York, USA

Hosted by New York’s Asia Society as a part of their programs for the 50th anniversary celebration in 2006, Navin Rawanchaikul was one of ten Asian artists invited to compile a limited edition print portfolio with the Singapore Tyler Print Institute. The print is constructed from a black and white scene of Navin talking on the phone alongside a staff member from the Institute, making unsolicited phone calls to a number of unknown people in Singapore who share his name. The ANYWHERE ANYNAVIN compass in the centre indicates Navin Party’s global quest, with the insert image of the artist and Singapore’s Navin Mehtani, an engineer from India, an example of the burgeoning network. This was the first time that Navin Party concept was introduced as a work of art.
