Almost identical to the award winning presentation at Art Basel but with a bigger space allocation, the project invited two young Thai artists from a Chiang Mai scooter gang to attend. Navin purchased a Lambretta scooter in Italy with the intention of his two protégés to ride the bike from Italy to France following Inson Wongsam’s original route but living new adventures. In actuality they weren’t allowed to travel by bike across the international border (because the scooter had no license), so instead they reluctantly travelled by bus and train. Nevertheless they presented an illustrated diary, along with several videos, photographs, and other associated objects found along their journey.
